Trish Sneddon Named MMA Counselor of the Year

Trish Sneddon, of FIFS, accepted the award for 2006 Counselor of theYear at MMA’s National Conference, held in Pittsburgh, Pa. on Saturday, April 21. Trish was the first woman to accept this distinguished honor. “I was absolutely amazed and surprised,” says Trish about hearing her name announced at the award ceremony. While she knew she was in the top five, she did not expect to win. “The other four are all top-notch counselors doing amazing things in their communities, and some have been around longer than I have,” she says.

Support from FIFS
Upon receiving her award, Trish gave special thanks to FIFS President, John Frankenfield, and her coworkers at FIFS. “I work in a very generous office. Everybody wants one another to succeed in serving our customers at the highest possible level, and everyone is willing to help and to share with one another so that we all do well.” FIFS feels fortunate to have Trish as well. “We are extremely proud of Trish’s accomplishments and feel honored to have her as a part of our organization,” says J.R. Hager, LUTCF, Financial Services Manager.

Earning the Recognition
The MMA Counselor of the Year award is unique in how it is determined. MMA uses a point system rewarding more than just sales, but also letters from clients and non-sale appointments and activities. Trish specializes in the senior market and holds the designations of Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) and Certification in Long-Term Care (CLTC). Trish was also the award recipient for Leader in Senior Benefits.
