Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plan Open Enrollment Scheduled for Nov. 15 through Dec. 31

People on Medicare will want to review the Medicare Part D program during its annual Open Enrollment from November 15 through December 31. During this time anyone on Medicare can either sign-up for a Part D Plan for the first time, or change plans.

Look for changes in the existing plan options, and consider new plans on the market. Expect increases in deductibles, coverage limits, and premiums. Also, some plans will see changes in drug coverage, tier level assignments, and co-pays.

In addition, this will be the one time of year when those who are currently enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan can switch into a traditional Medicare Supplement.
