JR Hager Sees Growth Ahead for FIFS’ Financial Services Division

One reason Financial Services ManagerJR Hager joined FIFS in January is because he appreciates how FIFS combines professionalism with a personal and friendly touch. “ FIFS is an agency that cares for and appreciates both staff and clients,” says JR.

As a Perkasie native, JR also brings a personal touch to serving a community he knows well. With 15 years of experience in both the insurance and financial services fields, JR works with both individual and business clients. “I use my knowledge of the commercial side of insurance to work with businesses on group life, health, and disability benefits,” he says. JR also works with individuals in choosing insurance and financial planning products. He holds his series 6 and 63 licenses in Pennsylvania, which allows him to sell mutual funds and variable products.

“I am most excited about expanding the Financial Services division,” says JR. One area of growth is to offer clients more seminars on insurance products and financial planning topics. With the additional office space, FIFS now has a larger conference room and can hold seminars in-house, rather than using a separate facility as before. The FIFS seminar, Planning a Purposeful Retirement, was held in April in the new conference room that holds about 50 people.

JR graduated from Pennridge High School and Delaware Valley College with a degree in business administration. He and his wife have two sons and two daughters, including a baby girl born in early April. JR enjoys coaching little league and being a youth advisor at his church.
