Health Insurance for Missionaries

For anyone planning to go overseas to do mission work, be sure to check whether your health insurance will cover you for medical care in a foreign country. Even if you are just going to be away for a few weeks, it is wise to consider international medical coverage for any medical emergencies that might arise while you are out of the country. Most international medical insurance will even cover an emergency flight home, or will fly a family member to where you are for support during a medical crisis.
