Christmas in India

Life & Health Agent Trish Sneddon and her family joined 20,000 people from around the world for Christmas in India this past year. In the village of Puttaparthi, they attended an annual Christmas pageant featuring an international choir, violin orchestra, and brass band.

Puttaparthi is also known for its spiritual history, including the Wish Fulfilling Tree. According to the story, there was an Indian Saint who as a young boy would pluck whatever fruit his friends wanted from the tree. After climbing a quarter-mile of steps, the Sneddon family wrote down their wishes, rolled them up, and tied them to the tree with ribbon.
